    Job Description

    The Technical Programme Manager will be responsible for delivering complex cross-functional technology programmes that support colleagues and help serve customers better. They will work collaboratively, influencing Product Engineering and business colleagues, to lead the programme in delivering value quickly and often.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Risk Management: Deliver programmes with business and/or technical risks using a standard programme delivery methodology (e.g. agile waterfall iterative)
    • Team Coordination: Bring together, coordinate, and energize virtual technology teams to deliver programme goals
    • Planning: Create and track a plan to deliver programme goals, including the technical implementation plan
    • Dependency Management: Manage dependencies, delivery timelines, and implementation plans using knowledge of technical architecture
    • Incident Management: Effectively manage major incidents, ensuring stakeholders are updated with the right information to drive correct decisions

    Collaboration and Communication:

    • Product Collaboration: Collaborate with Product and Engineering teams to define annual budgetary requirements
    • Supplier Management: Build positive relationships with suppliers & external stakeholders to deliver software or professional services
    • Knowledge Sharing: Coach peers and other roles on methodologies and programme management tools

    Requirements:

    • Technical Competence: Use technical competence to influence and understand the solution context and approach
    • Engineering and Infrastructure Best Practices: Understand engineering and infrastructure best practices and practicalities to help resolve delivery challenges
    • Technical Architecture: Understand the technical architecture to foresee the impact on dependencies, delivery timelines, and implementation plans

    • Experience: Proven record of accomplishment in delivering technology and/or infrastructure across multiple teams in multiple geographies
    • Data and Analytic Experience: Experience of building credible relationships and influencing management and leadership teams
