    We're looking for

    We seek freshers in Linux support with knowledge of Asterisk and SIP Protocol. It would be best if you also had a solid commitment to customer service.

    What's the role?

    We are looking for a Technical Support Engineer to provide enterprise-level assistance to our customers. You will diagnose and troubleshoot software and hardware problems and help our customers resolve issues.

    Technical Support Engineer responsibilities include resolving network issues, configuring operating systems, and providing immediate support using remote desktop connections. You will use email and chat applications to give clients quick answers to simple IT issues. You will contact clients via phone for more complex problems requiring nuanced instruction and provide clear, written instructions, technical manuals, and programs.

    · Taking ownership of customer issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution

    · Researching, diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve system issues

    · Following standard procedures for proper escalation of unresolved issues to the appropriate internal teams

    · Detailed understanding of Linux OS

    o OS installation

    o Basic architecture

    o Handling files, attributes, and permissions

    o Vi (vi – means opening and editing the files in Linux) essential files and customisations

    o Basic shell scripts and troubleshooting

    · Good understanding of MySQL Database

    o Running database queries

    o Running tables queries

    o Making changes in the database and tables

    · Knowledge of Asterisk and SIP Protocol

    · Excellent problem-solving and communication skills

    Language Skills

    Ability to read, analyse and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures or government regulations, to write reports, business correspondence and procedure manuals, and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public.

    Reasoning Ability

    Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions; ability to interpret technical instructions.

    · Diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues, including account setup and network configuration
