    Responsibilities:

    Should come with a stellar network of journalists and editors as needed. Most of our publications are organic, so we deal with journalists, influencers, and celebrities directly. Sponsored activity can be done by anyone- please do not sell me paid spaces/coverage.

    • Strategic PR Planning: Develop and implement a strategic PR and communications plan that aligns with the organization's goals and objectives in the domain of Sustainability.
    • Connect and build the audience in different areas of Sustainability. We are a start-up so you will have no tailor-made brand image to work up. Everything will be reliant on newness and adrenaline.
    • Media Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with key media outlets, journalists, and influencers to secure coverage and positive exposure.
    • Event Management: Plan and coordinate media events, press conferences, and interviews to enhance our visibility and impact. Should understand budgeting, celebrity management, and fabrication (event decor)
    • Paid Event Identification: Research, identify, and secure paid event opportunities that align with our mission and objectives. Ensure participation in key industry events and conferences.
    • Partnership and Collaboration: Develop and nurture strategic partnerships and collaborations with likeminded organizations, influencers, and stakeholders to amplify our message and expand our reach. Again, we are a start-up, so should know how to sell.
    • Brand Management: Ensure consistent messaging and brand representation across all communication channels. ORM is key.
    • Team Leadership: Manage and recruit a team of PR professionals, fostering their growth and development. Upskill and upscale as necessary.
    • Digital PR: Lead digital PR initiatives, including online media campaigns, influencer partnerships, and social media strategies to build a strong digital presence.
    • Content Creation: Collaborate with team members to monitor engaging and relevant content, including press releases, articles, blog posts, and social media content, to convey our message effectively.
    • Strategy Development: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute comprehensive PR and communication strategies that align with the organization's mission and vision. Develop industry know-how and stay up-to-date with trends across various client verticals.
    • Reporting: Measure and provide reports on each PR campaign, tracking key performance indicators.
    • Influencer relations - Identify and connect with key influencers and brands to seek potential collaboration opportunities for clients
    • Client servicing - Build and maintain an effective client-agency relationship. Conduct client meetings whilst ideating on strategy and execution plans

    Experiences:

    • Master's degree in journalism and Mass Comm.
    • 4+ years' experience in a creative agency/advertising consultancy/Market research consultancy/Media/ News
