Job summary
The Purchase Manager is responsible for planning coordinating and controlling procurement activities to ensure timely availability of quality materials services and equipment at optimal cost.Responsibilities
Develop and implement effective purchasing strategies aligned with organizational goals Identify evaluate and negotiate with vendors to secure best prices quality and delivery terms Manage end-to-end procurement cycle including requisitions purchase orders and deliveries Ensure compliance with company policies contracts and statutory regulations Analyze market trends and supplier performance to optimize procurement costs Maintain accurate purchase records MIS reports and documentation Coordinate with finance for budgeting payments and cost control Resolve vendor issues related to quality delivery or pricing Lead and guide the purchase team to improve efficiency and performanceJob description
