- Working on sourcing new factories and product developments
- Strong negotiations with factories on pricing, production timelines
- Working on prices for projects and assist sales team with estimations for bidding process
- Plan for inventory forecast, work together with warehouse to ensure proper inventory is planned
- Order placements to factories, coordination with factories and internal finance team for payments processing
- Preparing landed price list of all the shipments
- Preparing MIS Reports
- Effectively communicate production and order progress to key stakeholders
- Develop metrics for each division or process that we want to reach
- Develop reports for each operational division (domestic procurement) or operational process (order fulfilment) on these metrics
- Evaluate how to optimize each division for the measurement systems chosen. For example, if we see a time lag on a project, we would expect this person to go back to evaluate the root cause of this time lag and to provide input to you. Then he/she would work with the operating teams and head of operations to make changes by implementing improved process, protocols, cultural standards, train or change people If it isn't working.
- Graduate degree (MBA specially into International Procurement and Logistics Passed out candidates will be preference who holds bachelor degree)
- Minimum 5 to 8 years of relevant International Procurement and Logistics experience
- Analytical capabilities in operational procedures (a person who is sharp and can think of solutions)
- Ability to work with others to drive improvementswe don't just want a math geek who is good with numbers, but someone who is excited to work with different teams to execute on improvements. They have to like to work with people to drive the changes required
- Interested in a multitasking roll where they would be getting involved in all operational procedures, someone who prefer more handson work than just creating excel spreadsheets and power point presentations.
- High level of intelligence is key here to add real value.
- Excited about working for a medium size company with more responsibility and learning.
- Strong organizational skills
- Strong communication skills, personality, selfconfidence, command specially in dealing with factories, forwarders, cha's, internal departments and client is a must for this opening
- Should be well versed in English and Hindi (Written and Spoken English both should be very good)
- Should have good knowledge about documentation and custom clearance process in India
- Should be well versed in Microsoft Excel, Outlook

About the job
The ideal candidate will be responsible for International Sourcing, Inventory Planning, Procurement, Order Placement and Coordination with factories, price working for projects, shipment documents and also who can help us collect data on all of our operational procedures and work with Head of Operations and operations/sales teams to optimize the performance of these divisions.
In order to succeed in this position, the candidate must be organized and have excellent communication, email management, and discipline about maintaining a tasks list and following that rigorously every day.
Office timings are 10am to 6:30pm, It's a 6 days week job however 2nd and 4th Saturday will be holiday
