- Convert purchase requisition to purchase orders for direct materials through SAP against the schedule.
- Review the open purchase orders and follow up with the suppliers for on-time delivery.
- Facilitate the purchasing team with the necessary forecast for raw materials and for maintaining sufficient inventory levels across the value chain.
- Should be familiar in SAP MM module and maintain MM data in SAP within the area of responsibility
- Ensure a steady flow of materials needed for seamless production schedule
- Suggest appropriate changes in maintaining the correct Re-order level, MOQ and ROV based on the demand.
- Ensure supply chain processes meet legal requirements and standards
- Maintaining documentation and keeping accurate records of supply chain activities.
- Co-ordinate with warehousing, quality and other cross functional team to ensure all products arrive on time and in good condition
- Bachelor's in Engineering with at least 4-6 years of experience
- Must have experience in supply chain and purchase planning
- Knowledge in SAP Materials Management module.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and supply chain management
