Job Overview

Junior: 1 to 3 years of experience | Full-Time | Mumbai Suburban, Maharashtra, India

Qualifications and Skills

• 1-3 years of experience in payroll administration
• Strong knowledge of payroll processes, salary structures, attendance tracking, and full and final settlement
• Familiarity with relevant payroll software and systems
• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Excellent organizational and time management skills
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Knowledge of payroll tax regulations and statutory requirements

Roles and Responsibilities

• Process monthly payroll for employees ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with government regulations
• Ensure proper maintenance of payroll records and confidential employee information
• Calculate and enter payroll deductions and adjustments
• Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management
• Handle employee inquiries regarding payroll matters
• Assist in the preparation of payroll tax returns and other statutory forms
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures related to payroll
• Keep up-to-date with changes in payroll regulations and best practices
