- Solid experience (4 to 6 years) in preparing South Indian cuisine in a professional kitchen
- Deep knowledge and understanding of South Indian flavors, ingredients, and cooking techniques
- Proficiency in continental, Chinese, tandoor, and other Indian cuisines is a plus
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
- Food safety and hygiene certification is preferred
- Prepare and cook a variety of South Indian dishes, including dosas, idlis, and vadas, with excellent taste and presentation
- Ensure all food is prepared in accordance with the company's recipes and quality standards
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, following hygiene and safety regulations
- Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth operation of the kitchen
- Monitor food stock levels and place orders as needed
- Train and guide junior kitchen staff in preparing South Indian dishes
