- Monitor and analyze market trends for allcontracted commodities (e.g., resin, ferrous & non-ferrous metals, polypropylene,etc.), collaborating with suppliers to obtain updated pricing for upcomingperiods in accordance with contract terms.
- Obtain offers for newly added items and accuratelyupdate the pricing mechanism.
- Efficiently manage contracted commodities andforeign exchange updates in the system, ensuring update in SAP by coordinatingwith relevant teams. Track and report variances to the leadership team.
- Identify opportunities to automate manual processeswithin the pricing mechanism, leveraging technologies such as Power Automate,Power Apps, VBA programming, Macro programming, etc., to enhance efficiency andaccuracy.
- Collaborate with the Sourcing Leader regularly toidentify relevant categories for project expansion. Explore opportunities toreplicate a similar model for non-contracted commodities.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives withinprocurement operations, utilizing SAP and other tools to streamline workflows,enhance efficiency, and facilitate data-driven decision-making.
- Preparing RFQ documents including specificationsand terms & conditions, identify potential suppliers, manages the receiptof RFQ responses from suppliers, ensuring that responses are complete,accurate, and submitted on time.
- Evaluate RFQ responses, conduct quantitativeanalysis, comparing bids, and assessing the overall value proposition offeredby each supplier. Negotiate with suppliers based on Approved AuthorityGuidelines.
- Develop and maintain detailed SOPs for procurementprocesses to streamline operations, ensure consistency, and capture proceduraldetails effectively for reference and training purposes.
- Establish and monitor SLAs to measure theeffectiveness of sourcing activities. Regularly report performance metrics andidentify opportunities for improvement to management and stakeholders.
- Develop, maintain, and enhance relationships withstakeholders, including understanding internal customer requirements,forecasting growth opportunities, preparing roadmaps, and building capabilitiesfor future readiness.
- Actively participate in global Purchasing Supportenhancement projects to drive continuous improvement and efficiency inprocurement operations.
- 03 to 07 years ofpurchasing experience, preferably in the service delivery industry.
- Strong proficiency inExcel.
- Excellent verbal andwritten communication skills.
- Knowledge of ProcessAutomation apps such as Power Automate, Power Apps, Visual Basic programming ,Python programming etc.
- Hands-on process automationprojects.
- Proficiency in the Mandarin(Chinese) language is preferred.
- Bachelor's degree inengineering (any stream)
