- Create and finalize preparation of test plan and detailed use case scenarios for Functional, Automation, Integration, Performance testing.
- Contribute with automation estimates for user stories in every Agile Sprint and deliver on the same as per the estimates.
- Develop REST API and User interface automation test cases to ensure minimum 80% code coverage (both line and branch) and robust code quality.
- Participate in reviews for ensuring code coverage that meets end user requirements.
- Reviewing software bug reports and highlighting problem areas.
- Ensure 100% test pass in CICD runs.
- Log and monitor JIRA tickets for any test case failures; and validate fixes.
- Publish approved testing plan and test status on Confluence.
- Provide timely feedback on code quality, ease of use etc during Sprint retrospective meetings.
- Publish periodic reports on software defects to the stakeholders. Essential Qualifications:
- 5+ years of IT experience with at least 2+ years of QA experience for Ecommerce development projects
- BE/MCA degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical and/or supply chain field, or equivalent work experience
- Extensive experience in using testing tools such as Selenium, Jmeter, Loadrunner, Cucumber, Postman etc
- Extensive experience working with XMLs, XSLs, and JSON
- Working knowledge of public clouds (i.e., Azure, AWS, Google)
- In depth knowledge of retail, distribution, and supply chain domain fundamentals
- Thorough understanding of the complete Customer Order Fulfillment lifecycle, and end-to-end visibility, and utilization within business processes
- Experience in executing Omni-channel QA initiatives in retail industry
- Must be detail oriented focusing on quality, self-motivated and assertive while possessing the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks in a team environment
- Good organizational skills and flexible at adjusting assigned priorities when needed
- Excellent written/oral communication skills and strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proficient in Jira and familiar with Agile methodologies (Scrum and Kanban)
- Experience with retail Order Management System such as IBM Sterling Distributed Order Management (DOM), Manhattan OMS, or Salesforce Commerce Cloud Order Management
- Ability to learn quickly and stay on top of emerging technologies
