Job Description:
We are looking for a skilled video editor experienced with Descript to help build and manage a scalable reaction-video system
This is NOT influencer-style editing.
This is professional, medical authority positioning.
Project Scope
Phase 1:
- Build a reusable MASTER template inside our Descript workspace
- Create standardized caption styling
- Design clean lower thirds
- Create intro/outro structure
- Implement simple but professional motion pacing
Ongoing:
- Edit 8–12 reaction videos per month
- Duplicate template and swap doctor avatars
- Insert short clip excerpts (5–10 seconds max)
- Add captions, subtle zooms, pacing improvements
- Create 3 short-form cuts per long video
- 60–120 second talking head (HeyGen avatar)
- Insert short clip excerpt
- Professional captions
- Clean lower third identifying doctor + state
- Soft telehealth CTA
Tone:
Professional, calm, trustworthy medical authority.
Not flashy.
Not hype.
Not TikTok influencer style.
Ownership & IP
All work will be created inside our Descript workspace.
All deliverables, templates, captions, styling, and derivative works are considered work-for-hire and fully owned by our company upon payment.
Requirements
- Strong experience with Descript
- Experience editing talking-head / authority content
- Strong caption design sense
- Clean pacing and jump cut control
- Ability to follow structured workflow
- Organized and reliable
Bonus:
- Experience with medical or healthcare content
- YouTube + Shorts optimization knowledge
Initial template build:
$200–$300
Ongoing:
$25–$45 per video (volume-based)
Long-term relationship preferred.
