Inviting applications for the role of Lead Consultant - Quality Analyst -Software Tester

In this role, we seek a software tester with skills in both manual and automated testing. The tester will ensure the quality of software applications by designing, executing, and maintaining tests. This position requires collaboration with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve defects throughout the software development lifecycle. A commitment to collaborative problem-solving, sophisticated design, and delivering quality products is essential. Hands-on experience in testing is advantageous, especially as the industry moves toward agile methodologies and buddy testing.

Responsibilities

.Review and analyze software requirements and technical specifications to ensure a thorough understanding of the product.
.Design, develop comprehensive test plans and test cases based on project requirements. This includes understanding user stories and functional specifications to ensure thorough coverage.
.Conduct manual and automated testing to evaluate software functionality, performance, and security. This involves executing test cases, documenting results, and verifying bug fixes.
.Develop and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks using relevant tools.
.Identify, log, report, and track bugs and issues using test management tools.
.Conduct thorough regression testing to ensure that new code changes or bug fixes do not negatively impact existing functionality.
.Participate in Agile/Scrum meetings, work closely with developers, product managers, and business analysts to understand project requirements, provide feedback on product quality, and ensure all testing activities align with project goals.
.Maintain detailed documentation of testing activities, results, and defect reports.
.Participate in the improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
.Flexibility to work on multiple projects.

Qualifications we seek in you
Minimum Qualifications / Skills
.BE/B Tech/ MCA/BCA
.Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred Qualifications/ Skills

.Knowledge on Data Capture Technology (OCR/ICR/OMR) is preferred.
.Strong knowledge of software testing life cycle (STLC) and software development life cycle (SDLC) methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum).
.Proficient knowledge in manual and automation testing.
.Good knowledge of SQL Server for writing queries, understanding stored procedures and functions.
.knowledge in web API testing.
.Knowledge of programming languages such as C#/Python/Java/JavaScript for writing and maintaining test scripts.
.Familiarity with bug tracking and test management tools.
.Good understanding of web and windows-based applications.
