Master Planner - Aurangabad, India - East-West Seed
Description
The Master Planners' role is responsible for planning management of cleaning, coating and packing with the optimum utilizations of available capacity, resources in alignment with cross functions to improve the service level to customers while maintaining the cost part/Opex.
Roles and Responsibilities:
● Lead and manage all aspects of planning raw materials, packaging materials and packing scheduling and delivery to achieve customer satisfaction
● Collaborate with relevant functions both demand and supply side to achieve smooth supplies to customers
● Monitor batch utilization/FIFO by monitoring and recommending seed batches for seed coating and finished goods packing
● Synchronize supply chain e.g, inventory, Sales/demand, quality, logistics, etc
● Monitor and measure plant performance, and share the results with team for improvement
● Responsible for creating and maintaining BOM and Route related to processing activities
● Identify process and resource constraints and address it properly and on time with plant manager
● Clearly and effectively communicate about goals and objectives
● Proactively approach to the team with the solution if there is the risk
● Support management in implementation of S&OP concept
● Other assignments directly by the Processing Plant Manager
● Focus on timely completion of processing to export the seeds to SISCO and coordinate with the EXIM team
Minimum Requirements (Education, Experience, Skills):
● Bachelor or Masters in Engineering, Supply Chain and Logistics, related fields from an accredited institution
● 8 years' experience in Manufacturing environment, Agro or FMCG preferred out of which 3 years' experience of working in a multinational company with international reporting relationships
● Strong experience in production planning and scheduling, MRP, MPS
● Have direct experience of working in ERP system
● Understanding of S&OP concept will be an added advantage
● Demonstrated ability in written and verbal communication
