- The incumbent must have Device OS domain expertise across multiple components/features, should be able to manage complex and ambiguous environment set-ups.
- The incumbent must understand automation frameworks and test setups for various components such as MM, Framework, CONN etc.
- The incumbent must be able to guide DAs on time-sensitive tasks such as reproducing Sev 1/2 issues, patch validation etc. for over 10 components without pre-set work instructions, SOPs etc.
- Extensively train and provide floor support for DAs. Most DAs will be high school graduates with out any prior experience in testing.
- Create processes and documentation such as SOPs, wikis, findings, etc.
- Review defects raised by DAs, provide more information and triage defects.
- Review DA test results, perform audit and appropriately coach DAs on test procedures.
- Should understand functional complexities of over 10 components to be able to estimate bandwidth requirements, identify risks, and external dependencies.
- 4+ years of quality assurance engineering experience
- Experience in manual testing
- Experience in automation testing
- Experience scripting or coding
- Experience as QA lead on medium to large sized projects
- Experience with at least one automated test framework like Selenium or Appium
- Experience in gathering test requirements to create detailed test plans and defining quality metrics to measure product quality
