The Job Overview of anAndroid Developer We at
EVEREX INFOTECH are seeking adedicated Android developer to join our growing company.
You will collaborate as part of a team ofdevelopers to work on creating and maintaining Android apps.

As an Android developer you will need to befamiliar with the Android ecosystem and mobile appdevelopment including familiarity withpopular app frameworks and software development bestpractices.

Your duties will includemaintaining existing codebases including bug fixing and creatingapps from scratch as part of a team whilefollowing all coding guidelines and industry best practices.

Qualifications expected of anAndroid Developer:

BE / BTech/ MCA / MTech / ME. Solid understanding ofcommon programming tools and paradigms such as version control useof frameworks and common design patterns.
Proficiency with Android Studio and AndroidSDK tools. Excellent knowledge of the Javaprogramming language. Familiarity withmobile applications and development including the use of hardwaresuch as accelerometers cameras andgyroscopes. Comfortable working as part of acrossfunctional team and with code written by othersincluding bug fixing and refactoring legacycode. Excellent communication skills.


Technical Skill an AndroidDeveloper:

Experience inMobile Native Android Application development & AndroidStudio. Strong Knowledge of differentversions of Android and how to deal with different screen sizes.

Prior experience as an Android Developerusing Kotlin Java Android SDK Android NDK.Experience in publishing an application onthe Google Play store.

Proven workexperience in design patterns mobile architecture using frameworkssuch as MVVM/MVC/MVP.Experience with thirdparty libraries& APIs. Familiarity with RESTfulAPIs to effectively integrate Android applications.
Proficient understanding of code versioningtools such as Git GitHub or BitBucket.
Strong understanding of App life cycle.
Familiarity with various testing tools.
Knowledge of Work Manager BackgroundServices and SQLite Database. Experiencewith Unit performance & UI testing.
Familiarity with cloud APIs and pushnotifications. Problem solver with goodanalytical skills.


Responsibilities an AndroidDeveloper is expected to assume in their position: Designing and developingapps for the Android ecosystem. Creatingtests for code to ensure robustness and performance. Fixing known bugs in existing Androidapplications and adding new features. Working with external software libraries and APIs. Working with designers to turn designtemplates into working apps.
