- the lead subject matter expert about the data, tools, and modern analytical techniques leveraged to best answer business questions, provide recommendations, and support strategic initiatives
- with users to define business requirements for Tableau reports and dashboards
- analyze, and interpret large volumes of data in various forms from multiple data sources
- highly optimized queries in Big Query to perform analysis, share business insights, present data trends, or understand data anomalies
- strategic business decision-making through detailed analytics, insights, and real-time reporting
- with other data scientists, data / BI analysts, and product owners
- activities, plans, and progress of our analytical initiatives to business stakeholders
- our core business and the key success drivers of our customers
- data analysis experience and prior experience mining data to drive key business initiatives
- problems that can be solved by leveraging data science
- presenting technical findings and summarizing key insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels, including senior management
- with Analytics Engineering and Data Engineering to support various data management, data quality, and data governance initiatives
- years of relevant experience in a data science, business analytics, business intelligence, or comparable data engineering role, including data warehousing and business intelligence tools, techniques and technology
- years of Tableau development experience
- years of Big Query experience
- SQL and query-tuning skills
- working with dbt and semantic models
- of Salesforce is preferred
- to learn quickly and execute tasks independently
- with an analytical mindset and respond quickly to requests
- in Microsoft Office; Excel, PowerPoint a must
- writing and presentation skills to summarize key insights for technical and non-technical audiences
