    Position overview

    We are seeking a CFD software developer for our office in Pune, India.

    Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

    • Developing CFD codes for large-scale turbulent reacting flow simulations
    • Using C, C++, and MPI for CFD engineering software development
    • Collaborating with support and sales engineers to incorporate specific models into CONVERGE
    • Running cases with new features and sharing your results
    • Developing proposals for future work
    • Implementing and validating new interfaces for the code
    • Implementing an inputs validation framework
    • Extending our in situ post-processing capabilities using ParaView Catalyst
    • Extending our CGNS output capabilities

    Requirements:

    • M.S. or Ph.D. in engineering, computer science, mathematics, or related field
    • 1+ years developing CFD codes and simulating complex flows (experience during graduate studies is acceptable)
    • Combustion modeling knowledge (desirable)
    • Turbulence modeling knowledge (desirable)
    • Spray modeling knowledge (desirable)
    • Strong knowledge of data structure and design patterns
    • Prior experience in OpenGL and software development using Linux platform (desirable)
    • Strong interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and as a team
