    Job Overview

    We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team at Mind and Brain Hospital. As a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist, you will be responsible for providing exceptional psychiatric and behavioral care to children and adolescents facing mental health challenges. This is a full-time position based in Bangalore, Karnataka, India, and is suitable for candidates with less than 1 year of experience.

    Qualifications and Skills

    • MD or equivalent degree in Psychiatry
    • Valid license to practice Psychiatry
    • Good understanding of child and adolescent development and psychopathology
    • Strong clinical and diagnostic skills
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team
    • Empathy, compassion, and sensitivity towards the needs of children and adolescents
    • Strong ethical and professional standards

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations of children and adolescents to assess mental health needs
    • Develop personalized treatment plans based on assessment findings and collaborate with other members of the treatment team
    • Provide evidence-based psychiatric interventions, including medication management and psychotherapy, to address mental health concerns
    • Monitor and evaluate treatment progress, make adjustments to treatment plans as needed
    • Collaborate with families, educators, and other professionals to ensure comprehensive and holistic care
    • Participate in treatment team meetings, case conferences, and other collaborative activities
    • Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries
    • Stay current with advancements in the field of child and adolescent psychiatry through ongoing education and professional development
