Job Summary

As the Branch Managing Director, you will lead our software development services branch in Hyderabad, India. You will be responsible for driving growth, delivering high-quality software solutions, and aligning the branch with our global strategic objectives.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for a Managing Director located in Hyderabad. The Managing Director will be responsible for overseeing the company's strategic and financial objectives, managing key client relationships, and driving growth through business development. Other responsibilities include establishing operational policies and procedures, managing human resources, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality services and solutions. This role requires close collaboration with our Riyadh headquarters, maintaining a balance between local autonomy and alignment with our global strategy.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy:

• Develop and execute a strategic vision for the Hyderabad branch that aligns with our global company objectives and market opportunities.
• Champion digital transformation and technological advancements to maintain a competitive edge.
• Identify and mitigate potential strategic and operational risks to ensure business resilience.

Operations:

• Optimize project delivery, resource allocation, and operational workflow to ensure efficiency, quality, and customer satisfaction.
• Maintain a safe and healthy work environment in compliance with local and international standards.

Business Development:

• Expand business in local and international markets, leveraging India's strategic position in the global IT landscape.
• Establish strategic partnerships within the technology ecosystem.

Finance:

• Manage budget and financial planning, focusing on profitability and cost efficiency.
• Ensure financial compliance with local and international laws and regulations, and maintain timely financial reporting and transparency.

People:

• Lead, inspire, and develop a diverse team to foster a culture of innovation, excellence, and continuous learning.
• Actively promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the team, creating an environment that values and respects different backgrounds and perspectives.

Client Relations:

• Build and maintain strong client relationships, ensuring high levels of satisfaction and retention.
• Effectively resolve client issues and escalations, maintaining high standards of customer satisfaction and trust.

• Ensure adherence to legal, regulatory, and quality standards.
• Implement robust data protection and cybersecurity measures to safeguard company and client information.

Innovation:

• Stay ahead of technological trends and advancements in software development.
• Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, encouraging the team to explore new ideas and technologies.
• Innovation areas of focus include AI, machine learning, IoT, AR/VR/XR and other emerging technologies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Business Administration, or related field from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in the IT sector, with at least 5 years in management roles, preferably in software development.
• Familiarity with project management, financial management, and CRM tools.
• Proficiency in English at a fluent or native level is required.
• Local Market Understanding: Deep understanding of the Hyderabad and Indian IT market, with insights into local business practices and regulatory environment.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, problem-solving, analytical, and strategic skills.
• Experience in managing remote teams and international operations, demonstrating effective cross-cultural communication and collaboration skills.
• Strong business acumen and financial management skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.
• Experience in the technology industry and digital transformation services.
• Advanced knowledge of software development processes and methodologies.
• Proven track record of business development and sales growth.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and manage large teams effectively.
• Knowledge, experience or familiarity of the Saudi Arabian market and regulatory environment is a plus.

Reporting

• This role reports directly to CEO at our Riyadh headquarters and oversees a team of department heads and project managers.
• The Managing Director will also work regularly with other key stakeholders such as other executives or board members.
