Required Skills:
Essential Functions
Build UI and API based test automation framework to support DDP programs and applications improving quality and performance.
Implement efficient, customizable, and efficient test automation suites by follow coding and test automation best practices and standards.
Work with cross functional teams to understand and gather requirements and features and implement automation test to certify the features
Investing appropriately in process changes, automation, tools etc. to reduce, improve and simplify the overall testing effort for the product.
Good communication skills to discuss and share the update with team / managers
Strong communication skills
Write well-designed, efficient, and testable code.
Proficiency in software engineering tools.
Perform quality assurance testing inclusive of systems, integration and regression testing, and support the development of automated test scripts to be used to automate regression testing and managing the overall test artifacts and test execution
Test planning and Test strategy development using industry best practices
Log and track software defects in the Visa standard defect tracking tool and work with development team on defect resolution
Manage QA environments and perform application deployment and troubleshooting
Participate in design reviews to provide input on functional requirements, product designs, schedules, or potential problems
Participate in code reviews with team members.
Perform walkthrough of QA test results with business partners on need base
Develop new tools and processes to ensure quality goals are met
Foster partnerships with upstream and downstream teams including system analysts, architects, developers, and product owners or clients to ensure alignment and consistency in reducing product risk throughout the SDLC
Work with Project managers to provide QA estimates, schedule planning and providing status updates
Work collaboratively with other QA teams for integration testing activities
Work with Docker, Kubernetes, and Istio for containerization, orchestration, and service mesh
