Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Female Hostel Warden to join our team at Teacher Pool. As the Female Hostel Warden, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of the hostel, ensuring the safety and well-being of the female students, and creating a conducive living environment for them. This is a full-time position based in Ballari, Karnataka, India, and requires a Mid-Level candidate with 4 to 6 years of experience in hostel management.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven experience as a Hostel Warden or in a similar role
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software
• Strong organizational and time management abilities
• Ability to effectively handle student management and conflicts
• Empathy and understanding towards the needs and challenges of students living in a hostel
• Ability to enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a supportive and nurturing environment
• Knowledge of safety and security procedures
• A degree in Education or a related field is preferred

Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage the daily operations of the female hostel, including room allocation, maintenance, and cleanliness
• Ensure the safety and security of the hostel residents and enforce disciplinary rules
• Supervise and support the hostel staff, including housekeeping and security personnel
• Promote a positive and inclusive living environment by organizing and facilitating community-building activities
• Address and resolve conflicts or issues among the hostel residents
• Maintain regular communication with parents or guardians regarding the well-being and progress of the students
• Coordinate with the educational staff to ensure the academic success of the students
• Manage the hostel budget and maintain records of expenses
• Implement and enforce hostel rules and regulations to promote a structured and disciplined living environment
• Conduct regular inspections of the hostel facilities to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are met
• Provide guidance and support to students in their personal and academic development
