Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role for an Assistant Professor of English at the CT Group of Institutions, located in Jalandhar I.

The Assistant Professor will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate English courses, developing curricula, preparing and delivering lectures, conducting assessments, mentoring and guiding students in their academic growth, and staying up to date with developments in the field of English literature and pedagogy.

Collaboration with colleagues on research, seminars, and departmental initiatives is also expected.

Qualifications

Proficiency in English Teaching and a strong background in English Literature
Experience in Curriculum Development and Teaching strategies
In-depth knowledge of Literature and related theoretical frameworks
Master's or higher degree in English, English Literature, or a related field
Excellent communication and presentation skills
Ability to engage and inspire students in a classroom setting
