    Role: JIRA Admin

    Experience: 5+ Yrs

    Work Mode: WFO

    Location: Pune

    Education: Technical Graduate

    Communication preferred: Excellent

    What you will be doing:

    1. Configuration and Customization:

    • Set up and configure JIRA projects, workflows, issue types, screens, and field configurations to align with the organization's processes and requirements.
    • Customize JIRA workflows to match different project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Kanban).
    • Create and manage custom fields, issue schemes, and permission schemes tailored to specific projects and teams.

    2. User Management and Access Control:

    • Create and manage user accounts, groups, and roles within JIRA.
    • Assign appropriate permissions and access levels to users, ensuring data security and privacy.
    • Collaborate with teams to grant necessary permissions for different JIRA projects.

    3. Integration and Automation:

    • Integrate JIRA with other tools and applications, such as Confluence, Bitbucket, Slack, and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
    • Implement automation through plugins, scripting languages, or built-in features to streamline processes and reduce manual tasks.

    4. Maintenance and Upgrades:

    • Monitor JIRA's performance and troubleshoot technical issues as they arise.
    • Perform regular backups of JIRA data to ensure data integrity and disaster recovery readiness.
    • Plan and execute upgrades, patches, and updates to the JIRA software.

    5. Training and Support:

    • Provide training sessions to users and teams on how to effectively use JIRA for their projects.
    • Offer technical support to address user inquiries, troubleshoot issues, and provide solutions to challenges.

    6. Reporting and Analytics:

    • Create and maintain JIRA dashboards, reports, and filters to visualize project progress, key performance indicators (KPIs), and trends.
    • Analyze data to provide insights that can help teams and stakeholders make informed decisions.

    7. Continuous Improvement:

    • Stay informed about the latest JIRA features, updates, and industry best practices.
    • Propose and implement process improvements and optimizations to enhance the overall usage and efficiency of JIRA.
