Job Title: Copy Editor

MBTV, a YouTube channel that produces real estate content, is seeking a skilled and experienced Copy Editor to join our team. As a Copy Editor, you will be responsible for editing and proofreading content for multiple projects with a multi-location team. The ideal candidate should have excellent writing and editing skills in English, as well as good writing skills in Hindi and any other language will be a plus. Familiarity with the real estate market and business will be an added advantage.

Key Responsibilities:

Edit and proofread scripts, subtitles / supers in videos, research reports, and other content related to real estate for accuracy, clarity, and coherence

Collaborate with anchors, producers, and other stakeholders to ensure that all content is consistent and meets the standards of the organization

Ensure that all content adheres to the organization's style guide and brand voice

Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

Adapt to changing priorities and work collaboratively with a multi-location team

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field

At least 5-8 years of experience in copy editing and proofreading, preferably in a digital media or publishing environment

Excellent writing and editing skills in English

Good writing skills in Hindi and any other language will be a plus

Experience working with video content production will be an added advantage

Ability to work independently and in a team environment

Strong attention to detail and time-management skills

Familiarity with the real estate market and business will be a plus.
