    The role will own Merkle Sokrati's prestigious Digital Media vertical catering to Large Clients and will be accountable for its multimillion USD P&L, be a mentor to a team of about 500+ & growing, passionate Sokratians and be an executive sponsor to a portfolio of over 80+ marquee brands.

    This leadership role requires deep subject matter expertise, team leadership experience and strong operational skills across the full suite Digital media services offered by Merkle Sokrati. Executive-level client management and presentation skills are critical competencies in this role. This position reports to the Chief Business Officer, Media, and will work with senior stakeholders from dentsu and Merkle.

    Responsibilities:

  • Provide strategic leadership to the business unit. Build and grow the business within the Digital Media space across media channels like Search, Social, Programmatic, etc.
  • Develop and own overall Strategy and Business Plan, and overall P&L
  • Oversee multiple teams, such as Business Delivery & Operations, Analytics and Solution Engineering. Collaborate with multiple functions, including Finance, HR, IT, Legal, Marketing and Sales
  • Build and nurture relationships with key clients and partners
  • Contribute to product and capability development, as well as overall value proposition and acquisition strategy
  • Act as Digital Media SME in key client pitches
  • Qualifications, background & aptitude:

  • Overall experience in the range of 12-20 years, preferably during the rapid growth phase of a company.
  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in the Digital Media space (consulting, agency side, etc)
  • Experience in leading big teams is highly preferred
  • An entrepreneurial spirit, a desire to "change the game", a self-starter, and thinks outside of the box.
  • Strong first-principles thinking, high intellectual curiosity, drive and persuasion skill
  • Works effectively in a fast-paced, energetic team environment
  • Willingness to travel 20-30% of work tenure (client visits, other offices, etc).
  • And most importantly, LOVE customers and strive for the highest form of customer delight.
