    Role Description

    This is a full-time on-site role for an FPO Relationship Manager at Essmart, located in Bengaluru. The FPO Relationship Manager will be responsible for managing relationships with Farmer Producer Organizations and other rural B2B partners. They will work closely with these partners to ensure the successful adoption and use of high-impact livelihood products. The FPO Relationship Manager will also provide effective research and targeted rural marketing support to empower market actors and drive rural innovation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Should work with FPO's, SHG's and rural farmers organizations
    • Must be able to travel around South India in order to carry out the marketing tasks.
    • Should be able to understand the FPO's / Farmers requirements and cater to them
    • Well versed in terms of understanding the market dynamics, price movements, and quality specifications related to the Agri tech products in the assigned region

    Requirements and Qualifications

    • Experience in building and managing relationships with Farmer Producer Organizations
    • Knowledge of climate-resilient agriculture technologies
    • Strong research and analytical skills
    • Effective rural marketing skills
    • Should be able to plan and travel to FPO locations in South India
    • Should conduct Farmers meetings and do the product demos
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Passion for driving rural innovation and positively impacting rural livelihoods
    • Bachelor's degree Agriculture/Horticulture/Forestry or PG Degree in Agri business Management/Agriculture/Rural Management/Management/Social Work
    • Mandatory Languages: Tamil or Telugu + Kannada + English
