Data Engineer - BangaloreWe're looking for a Data Engineer candidate to join our team in Bangalore -Hybrid.
You will report to our Associate Director - Data Operations.

• Design visually appealing and informative reports using Power BI based on the published data models. Understand the requirements and translate them into interactive and insightful visualisations.

Data Ingestion

• Monitor data sources and initiate data ingestion processes to ensure the availability of uptodate data for analysis.

Troubleshoot

• Solve datarelated issues.

ETL Maintenance

- review and maintain ETL pipelines, addressing any issues or failures that may arise during data extraction, transformation, or loading.
Data Model Updates

– Work with the data modelling team to modify and enhance data models to accommodate changing requirements.
Data Quality Checks

• Complete automated data quality checks and validation routines to identify data anomalies or discrepancies daily.

Collaboration

• Collaborate with Tableau and Power BI developers, data analysts, and other partners to understand their data needs and provide necessary support.

Documentation

• Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data models, and system configurations to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.

Performance MonitoringWhat We'd Like to SeeComplete the assigned activities with schedule and quality parameters.
Experience migrating reports/data models from Tableau to Power BI.Role EssentialsYou have 3+ years working as a Data Engineer/Analyst.

Understanding of


DAX
- familiarity with
DAX performance optimization techniques and best practices ensures that reports maintain performance and responsiveness even when dealing with large datasets.
IDMC Data Integration skills to design data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
