Business Analyst (Loan Management System)
NBFC/BANKSJob Description:
We are seeking a talented Business Analyst with 6months to 2 years of experience in loan management systems within the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) and Banking sector.
The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of loan operations and processes, coupled with strong analytical skills to support the enhancement and optimization of our loan management system.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyse business requirements related to loan management systems, including loan origination, servicing, collections and reporting.
Conduct detailed analysis of current loan processes, systems and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.Develop comprehensive business requirements documents, functional specifications and user stories to support system enhancements and projects.
Work closely with IT teams and vendors to translate business requirements into technical solutions, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and standards.
Facilitate meetings, workshops and discussions with business users and technical teams to drive consensus and decision-making.Perform gap analysis to identify discrepancies between current and desired state processes, proposing and implementing solutions to address these gaps.
Collaborate with testing teams to ensure proper validation and testing of system changes and enhancements.Provide support and guidance to end-users during system implementations, upgrades and troubleshooting efforts.
Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to loan management systems and the NBFC sector.
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Computer Science, or related field.6months to 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the Non-Banking Financial Company (NBFC) sector, with a focus on loan management systems.
Strong understanding of loan lifecycle processes, including origination, underwriting, disbursement, servicing, collections, and recovery.Proficiency in documenting business requirements, functional specifications, and user stories.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data and processes to identify opportunities for improvement.
Experience with project management methodologies and tools.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Knowledge of regulatory requirements and compliance standards relevant to the NBFC sector is a plus.
