Overview The Software Engineer position is a vital role within our organization that focuses on developing, maintaining, and enhancing software applications using .NET Core, MS SQL, and AWS. Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and deploy applications using .NET Core.
- Build and optimize relational databases in MS SQL.
- Implement cloud-based solutions using AWS services.
- Develop RESTful APIs for front-end and back-end integration.
- Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure functionality and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Participate in code reviews to maintain quality and share knowledge.
- Monitor application performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
- Write and maintain technical documentation for software systems.
- Adhere to Agile development processes and methodologies.
- Continuously research and implement new technologies to enhance development processes.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand requirements and provide technical solutions.
- Ensure alignment of software development with business objectives.
- Participate in sprint planning and progress meetings.
- Mentor junior developers and foster an environment of learning.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in software development.
- Proficient in C# and .NET Core.
- Experience working with MS SQL and database design.
- Familiarity with AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development.
- Ability to write unit tests and knowledge of testing frameworks.
- Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems, ideally Git.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Experience with Agile methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban.
- Familiar with DevOps practices and tools is a plus.
- Passion for learning and staying up-to-date with technology trends.
