    Job Title Software Architect -C#Job Description

    Your role:

    Driving harmonization and modular design of system ( product, (sub-)system, software, service, platform, solution) architecture, product family platforms and technology choices with a primary focus on interface architecture and design.


    Interface architecture and design that is stays in sync with the requirements of both internal and external partners and using common platforms and technology choices where appropriate.


    Defining the optimal software architecture and system decomposition (deployment of functions to hardware, commercially available equipment, software-to-be-developed, motion control solutions, real time aspects, ...).


    Leading the overall software design and integration for a system or system function in a project aligned with the product architecture as defined and owned by the product owners.

    Leading the software design to the level that it can be realized by project teams by defining the technical concept, implementing constrains from legacy, regulatory and relevant cross functional areas and determining external interfaces in cooperation with all stakeholders

    Defining the functional software behavior of the system and designing and implementing the C++ or C# software when necessary.

    Integrating and testing software in an automated environment and in the end user system.

    Leading solutions when issues are found during implementation, integration & test and discuss the technical issues with specialists from various disciplines

    Assuring that software complies with the requested quality & regulatory norms and ensuring proper documentation for the developed software

    Establishing, maintaining, evolving and communicating the roadmap for IS PACS & related Solutions & tools.


    Creating well-defined building blocks/system options & scenarios; choosing the optimal architecture for the business, demonstrating technology and contributing to/driving roadmaps.

    Ensuring solid, up-to-date and usable documentation of the architecture.

    End-responsible for the accepted implementation of architecture, by explaining, convincing, deciding; incl. validation and verification; solving issues and learning from them; establishing architecture lifecycle management; and teaming-up for impact. Growing and coaching the teams implementing the architecture.


    Acting within the total context, (business, organization, roadmaps, external world, overall ecosystem etc.): driving for convergence; capturing / re-using prior art and in- and external trends; remaining up to date with regard to professional knowledge.


    You're the right fit if:
    A Master or Bachelor's degree in software engineering


    At least 12 years work experience, and at least 5 years in a cross functional team for complex enterprise applications.

    broad experience, experienced in C#, having familiarity with the Client Server Applications in the medical domain

    Knowledge and experience of medical imaging systems, related technologies and regulatory aspects is an advantage.

    Able to make a robust software design.


    Stakeholder management; Excellent communication skills and ability to deliver and translate vision and technical communications to non-expert and non-technical partners alike.

    Adept at driving convergence of competing perspectives to realize workable consolidation.

    Managing uncertainty and complexity.

    Customer centric attitude.

    Able to make a work break down and a planning for a software development team.
