    Job Description

    The Solution Architect will provide dedicated architecture support to the Operations Management area covering a range of technology services and capabilities underpinning delivery of Global Operations within the company

    The main activities performed in this role are:

    • Technology Solution design for the Operations Management area
    • Full lifecycle engagement with software delivery pods and engineering specialists
    • Product assessment and evaluation & contribution into the overall technology strategy
    • Ensuring solutions comply with bank standards and applicable design principles spanning the key technology domains cloud, cyber, data, devOps
    • Review strategies and solution designs and gaining approval via governance design authorities/review boards

    The Solution Architect is responsible for ensuring solutions are aligned with the strategic reference architecture, group standards and policies.

    Must have skills:

    • Minimum 8 years of experience as a technology Solution Architect ideally in financial services
    • Track record of taking solutions from inception through design to delivery
    • Certification in a recognised architectural framework e.g. TOGAF
    • Expertise spanning Cloud, micro-services, APIs and modern data architectures
    • Ideally experience of working with rapid development tooling and low code/no code platforms
    • Ideally experience of data analytics, process intelligence and work force management tools

    Expertise in one or more of:

    • Microsoft Azure – Azure Active Directory , Azure VMs, Azure App Service , Azure Storage etc.
    • Python libraries and frameworks commonly used in Azure, such as Azure SDK for Python
    • Google Cloud Platform, data presentation (GCP Looker) , and Qliksense
    • Power Apps / Power Automate
    • ETL tools and cloud integration (Juniper)
    • Automation tooling supporting workflow / process orchestration / intelligent document recognition
    • Nice / Anaplan
