    Role Overview:

    As the Lead Data Scientist, you will be responsible for leading a team of data scientists and driving the development and implementation of innovative data-driven solutions. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to identify business opportunities, design and execute analytical experiments, and develop machine learning models to address business challenges.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Lead and mentor a team of data scientists, providing guidance and support to foster their professional growth and development.

    Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand their objectives and identify opportunities where data science can provide value.

    Design and execute end-to-end data science projects, including data collection, preprocessing, analysis, model development, and deployment.

    Utilise statistical techniques and machine learning algorithms to extract insights from large and complex datasets.

    Develop predictive models and algorithms to solve business problems such as customer segmentation, churn prediction, demand forecasting, and recommendation systems.

    Work closely with engineering teams to integrate analytical solutions into production systems and ensure scalability and performance.

    Stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in data science, machine learning, and AI technologies, and proactively identify opportunities to apply them to improve business outcomes.

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. PhD preferred.

    8 to 12 years of experience in data science, machine learning, or a related field, with a proven track record of leading and delivering complex data science projects.

    Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, scikit-learn, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.

    Solid understanding of statistical analysis, machine learning algorithms, and data visualisation techniques.

    Experience working with big data technologies such as Hadoop, Spark, or SQL databases.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and present technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

    Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail, with a passion for driving data-driven decision-making and delivering actionable insights.
