Artificial Intelligence Research Internship Opportunity
At NeuroPhase AI, we are building intelligent systems that bridge artificial intelligence and neuroscience to address one of the defining challenges of our generation: cognitive overload, attention instability, and mental fatigue in a hyper-digital world.
We are developing adaptive AI models that analyze cognitive states such as focus, attention variability, and mental stress and translate those insights into personalized neuroacoustic interventions.
Our work sits at the intersection of artificial intelligence, signal processing, behavioral neuroscience, and computational modeling.To accelerate this mission, we are opening applications for an Artificial Intelligence Research Internship.
This is an unpaid internship. However, it is not a passive learning experience. Interns will work directly on real research problems within our ongoing NeuroPhase AI project. You will contribute to model design, data analysis, experimentation, validation, and research documentation. The work you do will be meaningful, technically challenging, and portfolio-worthy.
We believe exposure to real-world problem-solving is more valuable than simulated assignments.

What You Will Work OnModeling cognitive state estimation using AI techniques
Signal processing and pattern recognition in neuroacoustic data
Experimental design and validation of AI-driven interventions
Research documentation and structured problem-solving
Exploration of optimization strategies for adaptive systems
This is an opportunity to engage with real interdisciplinary research - not just code, but thinking deeply about intelligence, cognition, and human-centered AI systems.
QualificationWe are looking for individuals who are genuinely curious and enthusiastic about research in artificial intelligence. If you enjoy exploring ideas, reading research papers, building models, and solving open-ended problems, you are welcome to apply.
Interest in areas such as machine learning, signal processing, cognitive modeling, computational neuroscience, or related fields will align strongly with our project direction.
What matters most is intellectual curiosity, discipline, and a willingness to experiment and learn.Preferred Qualification
Third-year or fourth-year undergraduate students
Students pursuing Computer Science or closely related disciplines
Familiarity with Python and machine learning fundamentals
Basic understanding of neural networks, data processing, or optimization techniques
Prior research experience is a plus but not mandatory.
