    Job Summary:

    Candidate must be responsible for performing various accounting duties along with leading and engaging a team of at least 25-30 peoples of accounting under him.

    This individual will be responsible for overseeing the accounts payable, accounts receivable, bank reconciliation and conducting other similar accounting and financial tasks.

    This will also require prompt communication and coordination with clients, vendors, and cross-function teams.

    Duties/Responsibilities:
    Managing and overseeing the daily operations of the accounting department.
    Monitoring and analyzing accounting data and producing effective processes for clients.
    Establishing and enforcing proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.
    Meet financial accounting objectives.
    Coordinate and complete annual audits.
    Monitor team performance and report on metrics.
    Create an inspiring team environment with an open communication culture.
    Oversee day-to-day operation.
    Have good experience in team handling and have the ability to direct and supervise.
    Assign projects and direct staff to ensure compliance and accuracy.
    Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.
    Provide constructive feedback to the resources.

    Required Skills/Abilities:
    Good attention to detail and organizational skillsPossess excellent organizational etiquette.
    Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareKnowledge in Advanced MS Excel is MustHave a good work ethic and moral standardsWork efficiently with a commitment to high standardsIdentify process improvement and efficiency opportunitiesAbility to interact and communicate effectively with othersStrong written and verbal communication skills

    Qualifications:

    Bachelor's degree in Commerce, Accounting or Finance, CPA, inter CA or MBA Finance preferred.8+ years of progressive accounting experience in offshore accounting with a portion of it being in a supervisory role.

    Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organizationStrong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving resultsExperience with financial systems like Quick Books, Yardi, and Xero will be preferred.
