Local profiles to Salem OR IMP SKILLS Seven (7) or more years ofexperience in a security operations center (SOC) or relatedsecurity role.

An Associates degree or higher inComputer Science Information Technology or related field ORcompletion of a two (2) year accredited vocational training programin information technology or related field; AND 5 years ofinformation systems experience in a security operations center(SOC) or related security role.

A Bachelors degree inInformation Technology Computer Science or related field AND three(3) years of experience in a security operations center (SOC) orrelated security role.

Masters degree in InformationTechnology Computer Science or related field AND one (1) yearexperience in a security operations center (SOC) or relatedsecurity role.

Experience as a SOC Analyst or in asimilar role.
Strong knowledge of security principlesconcepts and technologies.
Familiarity with SIEM toolsand security monitoring systems.
Experience withincident response methodologies and tools.
Understandingof networking protocols and security infrastructurecomponents.
Excellent analytical and problemsolvingskills.
Excellent communication skills with the abilityto articulate complex security issues to technical and nontechnicalstakeholders.
Relevant certifications such as CompTIASecurity Certified Information Systems Security Professional(CISSP) or GIAC Certified Incident Handler (GCIH) are aplus.
Excellent attention to detail andaccuracy.
Versatile problem solver selfstarter and canquickly learn the essentials of what needs to be done oraccomplished.
Strong relationship management includingfacilitation and coordination with project teams andstakeholders.
Ability to be adaptable flexible and workin a fastpaced environment.
