    Language and Learning Foundation (LLF) is a non-profit organization dedicated to improving early learning outcomes in foundational literacy and numeracy in India. LLF has collaborated with multiple state governments to scale its FLN programs focusing on Teacher Training, Material Development, Teacher Coaching, and Mentoring. LLF also drives systemic change by enhancing the system's capacity at the district, state, and national levels.

    Position Overview:

    The Teaching-Learning Practices Survey (TLPS) aims to study the state of teaching and learning practices in classrooms for Grades 1-3 in government schools in several states in different regions of India over a period of time. It's the first-of-its-kind study that would help bring a spotlight on teaching and learning at the centre of the work related to early learning in the country.

    As the Project Coordinator for the TLPS, you will play a pivotal role in managing the entire project, leading training initiatives, overseeing data analysis, and engaging in additional activities to ensure the success and impact of the survey.

    Key Responsibilities:

    1. Project Management:

    Oversee the end-to-end project lifecycle, ensuring adherence to timelines, budget, and quality standards.

    Coordinate with partner organizations and stakeholders to ensure effective collaboration and communication.

    2. Training and Capacity Building:

    Design, develop, and lead training sessions for field staff, project coordinators, and support staff.

    Collaborate with external trainers or experts to enhance the capacity of the project team.

    3. Data Collection and Analysis:

    Supervise and monitor the data collection process in selected districts, ensuring consistency, reliability, and adherence to the survey protocol.

    Lead the data analysis efforts, working closely with data enumerators and analysts to derive meaningful insights.

    4. Tool Development and Refinement:

    Collaborate with partners and experts to contribute to developing and refining the observation tool.

    Provide insights based on project experience to enhance the effectiveness of the observation instrument.

    5. Advocacy and Stakeholder Engagement:

    Engage in advocacy efforts to raise awareness about the TLPS findings at regional and national levels.

    Foster relationships with key stakeholders, including government representatives, NGOs, and educators.

    6. Monitoring and Evaluation:

    Implement a robust monitoring and evaluation system to track project progress and identify areas for improvement.

    Collaborate with the evaluation team to assess the impact of the TLPS on teaching and learning practices.

    Qualifications:

    Master's degree in Education, Social Sciences, or a related field.

    At least 3-4 years of proven experience in project management, preferably in the education sector.

    Strong training and capacity-building skills, with experience in designing and delivering training programs.

    Proficient in data analysis tools and methodologies.

    Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

    Knowledge of the education landscape in India is desirable.

    Demonstrated ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.
