- The coder comprehends the patient's diagnoses from the documentation provided
- Converting healthcare diagnosis, procedures, medical services, and equipment into universal medical alphanumeric codes
- Developing standardized terminology for describing the causes of injury, illness & death is a key responsibility of medical coders
- Ensuring consistent documentation across medical facilities through medical coding
- Reviewing clinical statements and assigning standard codes
- Minimum 2 years of experience in Healthcare BPO with expertise in EM Multispecialty/CPC certification
- Solid understanding of EM coding and Procedure codes
- Demonstrated capability to transition into a Quality Control role
- At least 1 year of experience using Windows PC applications, navigating screens, and mastering new software tools
- Availability for shifts from Monday to Friday, 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM IST, with flexibility to adjust timings based on client needs
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends to meet business demands
