Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Data Analyst at Ven Analytics Pvt. Ltd. in Mumbai. The Data Analyst will be responsible for collecting, analyzing, and interpreting large datasets to enable data-driven decision making. The Data Analyst will also be responsible for developing and maintaining data models, creating reports, and communicating insights to stakeholders.
Responsibilities
Translate Business Problems: Collaborate with stakeholders to translate complex business problems into data-centric solutions that address functional, non-functional, and commercial concerns, such as reliability, scalability, and maintainability
Hypothesis Development: Decompose business problems into a series of testable hypotheses, identifying relevant data assets required for evaluation
Quality Measures: Define and meet the dashboard quality measures like data accuracy, data visualization, timelines, support etc.
Solution Design: Based on the business requirements design wireframes, POC and final product.
Performance Optimization: Improve user experience by continuously enhancing the performance, maintainability and scalability.
Troubleshooting: Quick issue resolution as defined by SLA. Resolve issues pertaining to access, latency, data accuracy, security etc.
Power BI Development: Use power BI desktop for report building and service for distribution
Backend development: Develop optimized SQL queries that are easy to consume, maintain and debug.
Version Control: Strict control on versions by tracking CRs and Bugfixes. Ensuring the maintenance of Prod and Dev dashboards.
Qualifications:
Education: MBA, B. Tech (Comp. Sc), BCA/MCA or equivalent
Experience: 2+ years of experience in developing Power BI Dashboards
Technical Skills:
· Experience with Power BI – Desktop, Service, M-Query, DAX, Data Modelling and Data Visualization
· Conceptual clarity and Hands-on experience with SQL
· Analytical skills to create powerful data stories
· Experience with using DAX Studio and Tabular Editor
· Expertise in High Volume Data Processing Production environment
