    Role & responsibilities:

    Manage and oversee the category of Women's Ethnic Wear products

    Deep domain expertise in Product (sourcing and procurement, order management, and Data management)

    An incisive professional with rich experience in Sourcing, Purchasing, Procurement

    Planning and execution

    Responsible for planning and selecting a range of products to sell in outlets.

    To buy the merchandize by considering customer demand, including price, quality and availability, market trends, company policy and financial budgets.

    To source new merchandise and review existing items to ensure products remain

    Competitive.

    To understand customer needs, to maximize profits and provide a commercially

    Viable range of merchandise at competitive prices.

    To manage sampling and production from vendors

    Calendar Planning for sampling and production

    Choosing right suppliers for the right products

    Responsible for the product pipeline progress

    Analysis of various reports to understand category, evaluating brand performance and taking appropriate measures

    Assisted in the annual sales plans for the category

    Preparing OTB - Open To Buy - and planning options as per OTB

    Raised purchase orders

    Ensuring stock availability & stock management

    Develop category strategies to drive sales and profitability

    Collaborate with design and production teams to ensure product quality and innovation

    Negotiate with suppliers and vendors for efficient sourcing and cost-effective production

    Coordinating with the design team to create season based product line.

    Skills:

    Diploma Fashion Designing

    Previous working experience as category manager for (5-6) years

    Expertise in category management

    In-depth knowledge of marketing and sales operations and processes

    Hands on experience with analyzing big data and making forecasts

    Excellent communication, presentation and interpersonal skills

    Have handled Women category in wholesales B2B
