About the Role:

Job Title: Data Engineer

Work Location: Bengaluru, Hyderabad, Chennai, Pune, Vadodara (Hybrid work)

Description:

Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain world-class enterprise-grade ETL/ELT data pipelines.
Transform raw data into scalable, performant data models for data analysts and scientists.
Design, build, and update foundational analytics data models simplifying analyses across products.
Implement best practices for high-quality, robust data including data monitoring and alerting, DQ frameworks, and regression methodologies.
Develop, schedule, monitor, and troubleshoot production-level DAGs with orchestration software, preferably Airflow.
Reduce manual effort through automated solutions.
Review and document code changes and orchestrate deployments.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or higher in computer science, engineering, mathematics, physics, or related technical discipline.
Minimum 8+ years of experience working in a data engineering role focused in Finance Analytics.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Proficient in transactional Python and analytical Python.
Advanced SQL ability, including dimensional modeling and data model design.
Experience with data principles, system and data architecture, and dimensional data modeling.
Experience developing orchestration/scheduling jobs, preferably with Airflow.
Experience with cloud platforms, preferably AWS, and Spark.
Previous hands-on professional experience working with finance metrics, data, and systems.
Experience with dbt is preferred.
