Skill & Abilities

1. Machine Learning Architecture Design and Development

● Design and architect scalable and efficient machine learning systems and infrastructure.

● Lead the development and implementation of machine learning models, algorithms, and techniques to solve complex problems.

2. Generative AI Use Case Research

● Explore and research the applications of generative AI using both open and closed source large language models (LLMs).

● Conduct and supervise Proof-of-Concept (PoCs) for various gen AI use cases.

3. Team Management

● Lead and mentor a team of machine learning engineers, data scientists, and AI specialists.

● Set clear goals and objectives, provide guidance, and foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.

● Identify training needs and opportunities for professional development to ensure the team stays at the forefront of AI technology.

4. Client and stakeholder management

● Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to understand client requirements and market trends related to AI and machine learning.

● Act as a subject matter expert and provide technical guidance and support to sales and marketing efforts, including client presentations, proposals, and demonstrations.

● Engage with external clients to understand their needs, demonstrate the value of AI solutions, and assist in the development of customized AI use cases to address their specific challenges.

Education and experience

● Bachelor's degree in Computer Science/Mathematics/Statistics or similar. Master's degree preferred in similar disciplines.

● 7+ years of experience in machine learning and AI, with 1+ years of team management experience preferred.

● Proficiency in Python programming language, along with experience in leveraging relevant libraries and tools for data manipulation, feature engineering, and model evaluation, such as NumPy, Pandas, and scikit-learn. Strong SQL skills are a huge plus.

● Strong understanding of software engineering principles and best practices for building scalable and maintainable machine learning systems, including version control (e.g., Git), containerization (e.g., Docker), and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.

● In-depth knowledge of generative AI techniques such as Retrieval-Augmented Generation and LLM fine-tuning. Able to utilize proprietary LLM providers such as Open AI, AWS Bedrock, as well as open source LLMs.

● Familiarity with at least one public cloud provider. AWS preferred.

● Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to design and implement innovative solutions to complex real-world problems using machine learning and AI techniques
