    Description


    As the Head Risk Monitoring, you will be responsible for overseeing and managing the company's risk management framework, including Internal Capital Adequacy Assessment Process (ICAAP), Expected Credit Loss (ECL), risk monitoring, liquidity management, and market risk assessment.

    You will collaborate with various stakeholders to develop and implement risk management strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure the company's overall risk exposure is well-managed.

    Key Responsibilities:


    • Develop and implement an effective risk management framework, incorporating ICAAP, ECL, risk monitoring, liquidity management, and market risk assessment.
    • Conduct regular assessments of the company's risk profile, identifying potential areas of concern and recommending appropriate mitigation strategies.
    • Oversee the development and maintenance of risk models, methodologies, and systems to ensure accurate risk measurement and reporting.
    • Lead the implementation of ICAAP and ECL frameworks in compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
    • Collaborate with internal teams, including Finance, Credit, Operations, and Legal, to ensure risk management practices are integrated across the organization.
    • Monitor and evaluate market trends, economic indicators, and regulatory changes that may impact the company's risk exposure, and provide recommendations accordingly.
    • Prepare comprehensive risk management reports and presentations for senior management and the board of directors.
    • Stay updated on emerging risk management practices, regulations, and industry standards, and ensure the company's risk management framework remains up to date.
    • Provide guidance and support to the risk management team, fostering a culture of risk awareness and accountability.
    • Foster strong relationships with external stakeholders, including regulatory bodies, auditors, and rating agencies.
    Qualifications and Requirements:


    • Bachelor's degree in finance, Economics, Risk Management, or a related field. A master's degree or professional certifications
    - (e.g., FRM, PRM, CFA) would be an added advantage.

    • A minimum of [X] years of experience in risk management, with a focus on ICAAP, ECL, risk monitoring, liquidity management, and market risk assessment, preferably within the financial services industry.
    • Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and guidelines related to risk management in the housing finance sector, including RBI guidelines and ICAAP frameworks.
    • Proven experience in developing and implementing risk management frameworks, policies, and procedures.
    • Proficiency in risk modelling techniques, quantitative analysis, and risk reporting tools.
    • Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills, with the ability to assess complex risk scenarios and provide practical solutions.
    • Strong leadership and team management abilities, with experience in leading and developing a team of risk management professionals.
    • Effective communication and presentation skills, with the ability to convey complex risk concepts to both technical and nontechnical stakeholders.
    • High level of integrity and professionalism, with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with crossfunctional teams and senior stakeholders.
