- Report Development - Design visually appealing and informative reports using Power BI based on the published data models. Understand the requirements and translate them into interactive and insightful visualisations.
- Data Ingestion - Monitor data sources and initiate data ingestion processes to ensure the availability of up-to-date data for analysis.
- Troubleshoot - Solve data-related issues.
- ETL Maintenance - review and maintain ETL pipelines, addressing any issues or failures that may arise during data extraction, transformation, or loading.
- Data Model Updates – Work with the data modelling team to modify and enhance data models to accommodate changing requirements.
- Data Quality Checks - Complete automated data quality checks and validation routines to identify data anomalies or discrepancies daily.
- Collaboration - Collaborate with Tableau and Power BI developers, data analysts, and other partners to understand their data needs and provide necessary support.
- Documentation - Maintain documentation for ETL processes, data models, and system configurations to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing.
- Performance Monitoring
- Complete the assigned activities with schedule and quality parameters.
- Experience migrating reports/data models from Tableau to Power BI.
- You have 3+ years working as a Data Engineer/Analyst.
- Power BI PL- certification.
- Understanding of DAX - familiarity with DAX performance optimization techniques and best practices ensures that reports maintain performance and responsiveness even when dealing with large datasets.
- IDMC Data Integration skills to design data pipelines that extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from multiple sources.
