    Job Title :: Technical Lead

    Location :: Bengaluru/Chennai/Pune/Hyderabad (Hybrid)

    Minimum years of experience :: 10+ Years

    Top/Must have Skills:

    • Leading Data Engineering projects
    • Azure
    • Experience with CDC (Change Data Capture)

    Role Overview

    • The Designated Responsible Individual (DRI) is a technical leader accountable for end‑to‑end delivery of projects to replicate Client Database of Records (DBORs) into Azure Fabric (OneLake). This role blends strong data background with delivery ownership, team leadership, and stakeholder management.

    Key Responsibilities

    • Own end-to-end delivery of assigned DBORs from Development through Release, based on approved Solution Architecture Designs.
    • Lead and coordinate Development, DevOps, QA, Architecture, and Release Engineering teams to ensure seamless delivery.
    • Be accountable for delivery of project outcomes to agreed timelines, requirements and quality.
    • Provide technical direction while managing priorities, inter-team dependencies, and delivery sequencing.
    • Define, standardize, and ensure consistent reuse of repeatable patterns across database and replication technologies.
    • Act as the single point of contact for assigned teams and the single point of accountability for escalations.
    • Proactively identify, track, and mitigate delivery and technical risks, maintaining visibility through structured reporting and RAID management.
    • Mentor teams on data engineering, database replication, and delivery best practices to improve overall execution quality.
    • Communicate delivery progress, risks, and issues clearly to senior stakeholders.
    • Apply strong technical expertise in CDC within Azure environments to guide delivery decisions and resolve issues.

    Must Have Skills & Experience

    • 10+ years of experience managing Data Engineering programs
    • Proven experience in technical manager or delivery lead roles
    • Strong background in data warehousing, Azure, and DevOps practices
    • Strong understanding of database replication and Change Data Capture (CDC)
    • Working knowledge of Azure Data Services, storage, and security
    • Strong leadership, communication, and ownership mindset

    Desirable

    • Working knowledge of Oracle GoldenGate based data replication
    • Working knowledge of Microsoft Fabric
