Job Overview

A senior software development engineer is a seasoned professional in software engineering who takes on an individual role within a software development team. They are responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining software applications and systems. Our ideal candidates are familiar with the software development life cycle from preliminary system analysis to deployment.

Key Responsibilities

- Create or update initial coding estimates for assigned projects.
- Develop code according to technical requirements, precise design, maintainability standards, and coding efficiency.
- Use processes and tools for code management to prevent versioning issues.
- Peer-review code to ensure compliance with coding and efficiency requirements.
- Fix code or interface issues identified by software engineers or test engineers.
- Write and run unit test cases before conducting thorough testing to ensure components perform as intended.
- Resolve client and/or function testing concerns.
- Prepare high-level technical designs for assigned tasks.

Requirements

- Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent from a reputable university.
- Rich experience as an individual contributor, preferably in project development cycles.
- 3-5 years of technical expertise in software development.

Technical Competencies

- 3 years of experience in software development using basic/advanced and mid-scale technologies.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as ASP.Net/Core/C#, Angular, and/or SQL Server.
- Good understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
- Familiarity with design patterns, unit test case writing, and coding best practices.
- Working knowledge of cloud technologies, preferably Azure.
