Overview:

The ForemanCivil plays a crucial role in overseeing and coordinatingconstruction projects. They are responsible for ensuring that allcivil construction activities are carried out efficiently on timeand within budget while adhering to safety and quality standards.The Foreman Civil is a key leadership position that requires strongorganizational communication and problemsolving skills toeffectively manage a team of construction workers andsubcontractors.

KeyResponsibilities:

• Supervise andcoordinate daily construction activities
• Readand interpret blueprints and constructiondrawings
• Ensure compliance with projectspecifications and safety regulations
• Manageand maintain construction equipment andtools
• Monitor and report project progress tothe project manager
• Coordinate withsubcontractors and vendors
• Conduct qualitycontrol inspections
• Address any onsite issuesand resolve conflicts
• Train and mentorconstruction crew members
• Implement and enforcesite safety protocols
• Document dailyconstruction activities and report on labor and materialusage
• Assist in project planning andscheduling
• Manage inventory of constructionmaterials
• Communicate with projectstakeholders
• Ensure adherence to environmentalregulations

RequiredQualifications:

• High school diplomaor equivalent
• Proven experience as a ForemanCivil or similar role
• Strong knowledge ofconstruction processes equipment andmaterials
• Ability to read and interpretblueprints and technical drawings
• Excellentleadership and supervisory skills
• Effectivecommunication and interpersonal abilities
• Soundunderstanding of safety and qualitystandards
• Problemsolving and decisionmakingskills
• Ability to work in a fastpaced anddynamic environment
• Familiarity withconstruction software and tools
• Physicalstamina and agility for onsite work
• Validdrivers license
• Certification in constructionmanagement or a related field(preferred)
• Knowledge of local building codesand regulations
• Ability to work independentlyand as part of a team
