We are seeking an experienced QA/QC Coating Inspector to join our team in India. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in coating inspection and a deep understanding of quality control processes related to coatings in various industrial applications.

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of coating applications to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
• Review and interpret project specifications, technical drawings, and coating standards.
• Perform visual inspections, thickness measurements, and adhesion tests on coated surfaces.
• Document inspection findings and prepare detailed reports for management and clients.
• Communicate effectively with project teams, contractors, and clients regarding quality assurance issues.
• Ensure that all coating materials and processes meet the required quality standards.
• Participate in quality audits and assist in identifying areas for improvement.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, or a related field.
• 10-15 years of experience in coating inspection or quality control in relevant industries such as oil & gas, marine, or construction.
• Certifications such as NACE Coating Inspector, SSPC Coating Inspector, or equivalent are preferred.
• Strong understanding of coating materials, application techniques, and inspection methodologies.
• Proficiency in using inspection tools and equipment such as dry film thickness gauges, holiday detectors, and adhesion testers.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to identify quality issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with project stakeholders.
