    Ciklum is looking for a Java Developer to join our team full-time in India.

    Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain back-end systems to meet customer business needs using modern software development practices
  • Participate in application architecture, solution development, and code reviews
  • Design and implement various types of tests (unit, integration, functional,
  • Contribute to solution development and process improvements
  • Work within an international distributed team in an Agile environment
  • Communicate effectively with project managers, engineers, architects, QA, and other stakeholders
  • Contribute to the product roadmap and planning
  • Adhere to high coding standards, and software best practices, and write highly testable, automatable, and performant code

    • Requirements

  • 2 to 3 years of experience as a junior Java developer in software development
  • Good knowledge of Computer Science and Computing Theory (OOP, SOLID, database theory, code testing practices, algorithms, data structures, design patterns)
  • Proficiency in network interactions (protocols, REST, RPC) and authentication and authorization flows
  • Strong experience with Java and its ecosystem
  • Experience with REST API development, Spring Boot, testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito), ORM (Hibernate), RDBMS (MySQL, PostgreSQL), and version control systems (Git)
  • Familiarity with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), Docker, and continuous integration tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI)
  • Good problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Fluent or upper-intermediate English proficiency

  • Bachelor's / Engineering degree (IT / Computer Science will be added advantage)

  • Experience with Java build tools (., Maven, Gradle)
  • Familiarity with containerization technologies (., Docker)
  • Knowledge of testing frameworks (., JUnit, Mockito)
  • Understanding of REST API development principles
  • Exposure to cloud computing platforms (., AWS, Google Cloud Platform, Microsoft Azure)
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (., Scrum, Kanban)
  • Knowledge of software design patterns and best practices
  • Familiarity with continuous integration and deployment tools (., Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD)
  • Hands-on experience with personal projects or open-source contributions
