We are currently in search of a highly skilled and driven Polishing Manager to lead the Finishing Department in our woodworking plant.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise day-to-day operations of the Finishing Department, ensuring efficiency, productivity, and quality standards are consistently met.
• Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for finishing processes to optimise efficiency and quality.
• Train and mentor department staff on proper finishing techniques, safety protocols, and equipment operation.
• Conduct regular inspections of finished products to ensure adherence to quality standards and customer specifications.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the Finishing Department, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
• Coordinate with other department managers to ensure smooth workflow and timely completion of projects.
• Prepare regular reports on departmental performance, including production metrics, quality control measures, and resource utilization.

Qualifications

• Degree in woodworking, engineering, or a related field preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in woodworking with a focus on finishing techniques.
• Proficiency in English language, both written and verbal, required.
