Job Title :

AMS Char Engineer (Spice/Spectre)

Job Description :

- Timing characterization for Analog Mixed Signal macros

- Hands-on with SiliconSmart/LiberateAMS is required

- Setup and debug spice simulations to extract timing and power data for AMS macros at cross corners

- Run QA checks on extracted data for consistency and correctness.

- IP design kit release to depot

Key Responsibilities :

Analog/Mixed-Signal Circuit Simulation : Utilize Spice and Spectre simulation tools to perform circuit-level simulations for analog and mixed-signal designs. Verify design functionality and performance against specifications.

AMS Characterization : Develop and execute comprehensive characterization plans for analog and mixed-signal circuits. Generate simulation decks, run simulations, and analyze results to ensure design robustness across process corners and operating conditions.

Modeling and Verification : Work closely with design teams to develop and validate accurate behavioral and transistor-level models. Collaborate on model development and refinement to improve simulation accuracy and predictability.

Performance Optimization : Identify opportunities for performance improvement and optimization in analog and mixed-signal designs. Propose and implement design enhancements to meet performance targets.

Job Deliverables:

- Timing and power .libs for AMS macros

- IP Design Kit views release to P4 depo

- Methodology and flow improvements using automation

Desired Qualification :

- Master's or equivalent

Desired Experience :

- 2-4yrs in any of the spice simulators (Hspice / Spectre preferred)
